Vessel Released on Payment of dues connected to Operational Cost.

Some suppliers supplied various daily necessities and maintenance services to a certain vessel for its daily operations. However, the owners of the vessel failed to pay the dues on several demands. Later, the vessel entered into the territorial waters of Bangladesh. The suppliers filed several admiralty suits and prayed for the arrest of the res (the Vessel) which was arrested accordingly by the Order of the Hon’ble High Court Division of Bangladesh. Subsequently, the plaintiffs were successfully received the dues out of court. Then, they applies for release of the vessel on ground of amicable settlement of  dues on account of the operational cost of the vessel. The Hon’ble Court on perusal of the application and hearing the learned Advocate of the plaintiffs released the vessel accordingly.
